IQVIA licenses COAs on a per use basis (e.g., per clinical trial, per registry) for a set duration of time (e.g., per project for the duration of the project or for one year patient healthcare or patient support app use with annual renewal required for continued use). Please contact us to request a license to use any COA in your project. We will then work with you to execute a License Agreement, confirming your agreement to the terms and conditions of use. This step is required prior to receiving the requested COA(s), scoring software, and other licensed materials.
If IQVIA does not already have the translation(s) that you need, please contact us to request a quote for the required country(ies) and language(s) and the team will provide a cost and timeline estimate for translation development. While IQVIA strongly recommends using linguistic validation with cognitive debriefing, there may be exceptions where approval for a simple translation (i.e., forward and backward translation) will be granted. Typical turn-around time for a fully linguistically validated translation is 8-12 weeks after execution of a license agreement.
IQVIA’s COA scientists bring the breadth and depth of their expertise and experience to guide you with any scientific question that you may have. When requesting a license, please describe where IQVIA scientific consulting can help you achieve the best outcomes (e.g., COA selection, endpoint strategy, scoring and analysis, submission).

IQVIA eCOA is the preferred vendor for electronic implementation of this assessment. The official electronic version is available through the IQVIA eCOA Library and has already been reviewed and approved by the IQVIA scientific support team. Access to other previously migrated languages can also be rapidly provided. In cases where new migrations are needed, our integrated and streamlined build process for existing translations can be completed in just a few weeks, bringing significant time savings to your project. For more information on IQVIA's eCOA platform, please contact the IQVIA eCOA team at eCOARFP@iqvia.com.
For questions related to the COA or to speak to an expert, contact us.
If you are not able to use the IQVIA eCOA platform, our team can collaborate with other eCOA vendors to address your implementation needs at a project level or for eCOA libraries. IQVIA’s goal is to ensure optimal migration of our COAs from paper to electronic format on any platform to minimize impact on the instrument's measurement properties. Other eCOA implementation services are also available via our PCS Technical Services team (e.g., UAT support, eCOA data monitoring).
